RAI the Italian national broadcaster has confirmed Matteo Trullu will sing ‘Che cos’è l’amore?’ for Italy at JESC 2026 in Malta on October 24.

Following the tradition of many other broadcaster artist selections, RAI have confirmed Matteo Trullu will represent Italy at JESC 2026 after his victory on The Voice Kids Italy earlier this year.
The 14-year-old native of Sardinia started his music career learning to play the guitar, piano and drums. Earlier in February, Matteo won the fourth season of The Voice Kids Italy. During the competition he was coached by Sanremo alumni Nek.
At Junior Eurovision later this year, he will sing ‘Che cos’è l’amore?’ which translates to, ‘What Is Love’. The music video for the entry has now been released.
