Following his recent victory in Melodi Grand Prix 2025, the Norwegian representative Kyle Alessandro has confirmed that his stage performance will be revamped in time for the Basel stage this May.
NRK addresses similarities to Armenia’s Eurovision entry
Although Armenia selected their Eurovision participant a week after Norway, Norwegian broadcaster NRK and Kyle Alessandro have agreed to make changes to the performance ahead of the Basel contest. The outfit for Kyle Alessandro will be modified to remove comparisons that have been made due to the Armenian representative PARG also wearing a similar armour-themed costume. This week, the Norwegian delegation will begin their preparations for adapting their performance ready for the big stage in May.
“We have noticed that Armenia has some similarities with Kyle’s performance in general and costume in particular. It is clearly not optimal for us, and is something we will have to address. This week we will start adapting the show to the big Eurovision stage. Then we will definitely take this with us. Kyle wants and will stand out on the biggest music stage in the world. I can promise that.”
