Princ releases revamped ‘Mila’ for Eurovision 2025

Following his Pesma za Evroviziju ’25 victory and recent news of a revamp, Princ has now released the final version of his Eurovision Song Contest 2025 entry, ‘Mila’.

‘Mila’ revamp and music video released

Earlier this month, Princ confirmed in an interview with local Serbian media that elements of the staging and performance for ‘Mila’ would be updated in time for the Basel contest this May. However, the delegation has revealed in its release of the music video, that the song has also received a polish. The arrangement has been reworked with the help of famous Serbian Eurovision artist and music producer, Željko Joksimović. Many will remember Željko from the 2004 and 2012 contests, where he placed second and third respectively.

Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest

After previously competing as part of one-time winning nation Yugoslavia, and then Serbia & Montenegro, Serbia made their debut as an independent nation in 2007. Marija Šerifović was selected as Serbia’s first Eurovision entrant, with, ‘Moltiva’. After winning the Semi-Final with 298 points, Serbia managed to win the whole contest, scoring 268 points in the Final.

Following a successful first year, Serbia placed 6th on home soil in 2008. However, in 2009, they failed to make the final for the first time. Since then, Serbia have managed one more top three placing – in 2012. Željko Joksimović, who had already been a Eurovision runner-up in 2004 for Serbia & Montenegro, finished 3rd with, ‘Nije ljubav stvar’.

Last year, following victory in Pesma za Evroviziju ’24, Teya Dora represented Serbia with, ‘Ramonda’. During the Final, she placed 17th with 54 points.
