Earlier this evening, during a segment on 1TV’s Communicator show, it was announced that Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz will perform the song “Midnight Gold” in Stockholm.
After the five shortlisted songs were presented in full last week, the Georgian public were given a week to decide the winning song via televoting. An expert jury consisting of Andy Mikheev, Christer Björkman, Sasha Jean Baptiste, and Marvin Dietmann were also brought in to review and mark the songs, with their final scores combined with the public vote.
The band were notified of the winning song via a Skype call during the broadcast and will begin recording the final version of the song in Berlin tomorrow.

Georgia will compete in the second half of the second semi final on 12th May.
