Yesterday on 28th of May, and Belarusian representative had her birthday. Today, however, there are two Eurovision artist that celebrate their birthday. One of them even performed a song named “Celebrate”. Daria Kinzer and Wyn Hoop were born on this day.
Wyn Hoop, 82
In 1960,Germany selected Wyn to be their representative at Eurovision. That is why he performed at the 5th Eurovision in London. His song was mostly performed in German, despite having the French title “Bonne Nuit Ma Chérie”. Hoop’s entry finished in joined 4th place, because Norway got equal amount of points.
Daria Kinzer, 30
Croatia selected the Croatian/Austria singer Daria to be their singer at Eurovision in 2011. Therefore she performed the song “Celebrate” in Düsseldorf, Germany. Unfortunally for her, the song did not advance to the final. Kinzer released as well an german version of the song, called “Diese Nacht“.
