Melodifestivalen 2020 host Linnea Henriksson, has released her new single ‘Det kommer en tid’ (There Will Be A Time). This is Linnea’s first release for a year, and also her first after hosting one of the biggest shows in Sweden.
About ‘Det kommer en tid’
The idea came for her latest single when Linnea went to her summer cottage to take a break. What was meant to be a week’s vacation, turned out to be her new home. Whilst being there, her thoughts and feelings built up, which turned into a song.
“I wasn’t really meant to release music now, but when the whole world was suddenly forced to pause, the need to write came.
The tramp organ, which I switched to a couch mostly for fun, became my comfort when the uncertainty and turmoil became too great. The sounds of it reminded me of grandma, school graduation, and that lively hopefulness on the first day of summer vacation. It gave me a calm feeling and I hope the listener will feel it too.
“Det kommer en tid” is a song about the time we are in, but also a loving reminder of the time to come. A time worth waiting for. A time worth keeping in. “
