Netflix’s Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga has only been released for just over 48 hours but numerous songs from the film’s soundtrack have begun to make waves in iTunes charts across the world.
Husavik has won people’s hearts
Arguably the film’s most memorable moment, “Husavik” performed by Will Ferrell and Molly Sandén, is leading the way. The stunning power ballad has entered the top 10 on the iTunes charts in the major iTunes markets of the United Kingdom and Australia. Additionally, “Husavik” finds itself on the brink of the top 15 in the biggest iTunes market, the United States.
Yesterday, Kworb’s famous “worldwide” iTunes singles chart places “Husavik” at an impressive #24 and is certain to climb further today due to the fact that the song has climbed higher in all the national iTunes charts since that update. Impressive right?
Soundtrack album experiences success
The soundtrack album is experiencing similar success, inside the iTunes top 10 in both the United Kingdom and Australia. Likewise, the album currently finds itself in the top 20 in the United States which contributes to an overall worldwide iTunes album chart placing of #11.
Further tracks from the soundtrack are also experiencing iTunes success, with “Jaja Ding Dong”, “Double Trouble”, The Eurovision “Song-A-Long” medley and Demi Lovato’s “In The Mirror” all inside the top 50 in the United Kingdom.
Husavik is a beautiful song, love it!!
