🇮🇹 Diodato, Mahmood and more Italian stars to perform at Heroes on 6 September

A 5-hour marathon of all your favourite artists!

Futurissima has announced that they will host a concert titled Heroes on Sunday 6 September. This will be in support of the Spotify COVID19 Music Relief. It includes a star-studded lineup of Eurovision and Sanremo artists.

“An extraordinary digital experience”

The concert will be taking place live from the Arena di Verona with a lineup of 34 Italian artists. They will perform to an audience of key workers to honour the work they have done for the last few months.

Moreover, for everyone else, the concert will be available on a live stream. This can be experienced in 5 different ways:

  • Main Stage, with digital interactions
  • Immersive Stage, with panoramic video and a chatroom to comment and react
  • Backstage, through discovering the behind of scenes of the concert
  • People Area, where you can create your own profile and interact with other fans
  • Merch Area, for buying merchandise from the event

The lineup

Futurissima have invited the likes of Eurovision 2020 and 2019 artists Diodato and Mahmood, as well as 2016 representative Francesca Michielin. Many Sanremo artists will also be joining them. Elodie, Levante, Achille Lauro and Pinguini Tattici Nucleari just to name a few.

The importance of the event

Futurissima is a MIH project, which stands for Music Innovation Hub. MIH is known as a Social Enterprise Company. They believe in music as an expressive form that is capable of releasing new energies and breaking social barriers.

The event is called Heroes in order to support healthcare workers and people in the music industry. In addition, the proceeds from the concert will go to Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief. This will be able to give artists their sources of revenue, which have since been put on hold due to the global pandemic.
