🇮🇪 Brendan Murray released new single ‘500 Days’

"I’ve kept this song hidden away for a good while now and I can’t express how excited I am to finally release it!"

Brendan Murry, who represented Ireland at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, is on fire this year and just released his new single ‘500 Days’. Prior to this release, he published four more songs this year including ‘Let Go‘ in July. ‘500 Days’ is written by Brendan himself together with Jacob Henley, Janet Grogen & Mark Caplice.

“I can’t express how excited I am to finally release it!”

This is what Brendan wrote on Instagram before the release of his new single. ‘500 Days’ is an emotional, heartbreaking power ballad. It’s about a relationship that, unfortunately, did not have a happy ending. It’s about the pain and the feelings you go through when your heart gets broken.

500 days, I thought we were in love
I gave you my all, but it wasn’t enough
One night away you couldn’t spend it alone
500 days, but you broke it in one

During the “Hot Press Lockdown Sessions” Brendan revealed, that ‘500 Days’ was written two year’s ago after he took part in X-Factor. The song is about heartbreak and lyrically speaks for itself. You can read the full lyrics HERE.
