🇳🇱 Duncan Laurence debuts on US Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Arcade’

First Eurovision entry this century to make historic US chart

The sweeping success of Eurovision 2019’s winning entry, ‘Arcade‘ continues, as Duncan Laurence makes his debut on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Following the song’s new found popularity on social media app TikTok, Arcade has received overwhelming success across the globe. Following a newly recorded version with singer Fletcher and several U.S television appearances, Arcade has today charted at #100 in the US Billboard Hot 100.

First Eurovision entry in 25 years to reach Billboard chart

The heart-wrenching ballad, which stormed to victory in Tel Aviv, becomes the first Eurovision Song Contest entry this century to reach America’s industry standard record chart. The UK’s 1996 entry, ‘Ooh Aah… Just a Little Bit‘ by Gina G, was last to do so, where it charted at No.12.

With stage preparations for this year’s contest underway at Rotterdam Ahoy, it was recently announced that Duncan will perform in two of this year’s live shows. He will take to the stage at the first semi final on 18th May and again during the grand final on 20th May. The performances are set to be “unmissable” and a “unique contribution” to the contest.
