Rehearsal review

Rehearsing right now inside the Rotterdam Ahoy is Vincent Bueno, performing “Amen” for Austria. We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!

Vincent is wearing black trousers and a long black coat covered in sparkly crystals. It starts very dark with white light and a lot of smoke. He is standing on a catwalk-shaped platform on the main stage and is walking very slowly towards the end of it. The colour palette is mostly white/black/gold and we have strong beams of light along the catwalk.

Camera-wise, the focus is on Vincent a lot, conveying the emotion and depth of the song very well. In the end, the LED wall opens and we get beams of light from the back towards the audience, almost creating a wall of light around Vincent. The lighting turns very golden/red and the performance ends witha single spotlight on Vincent and a close up shot of him.

The second run through is similar to the first with great vocals and a lot of emotion. Vincent is really feeling the song but the camera work still needs a bit of work.

Rehearsal video clip

We will update the article, once the EBU has uploaded the rehearsal video clip on the official Eurovision channel.
