Rehearsal review

Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:

And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:

No changes has been made to the performance, but if possible, Blas sounds even better than on the first rehearsal. He goes for all the high notes and nails them. Overall the focus on the performance is on Blas and the huge moon prop is a bit unnecessary.

There are some unfortunate camera shots, with cameramen visible on some of them. The lights and the visuals are beautiful, with the performance starting from darkness, with a more colour, especially orange, added in towards the end of the performance.

While there’s nothing wrong with the performance, it might get lost in the final. If you remember something from this, it’s the huge moon, not the song. And it’s unlikely that anyone will be voting for the huge moon. It will be very difficult for Spain to escape the bottom five and there is a big chance it’s Spain who we find on the bottom of the scoreboard on the Saturday night.
