Vladana records “Breathe” in Italian with orchestra

"It will sound different, cinematic"

During her appearance on the show “Pop Top” on RTCG, Montenegro’s Eurovision 2022 representative Vladana told about the recording of an Italian version of her entry “Breathe”.

Vladana tells that the new version of the song is more cinematic and will include an orchestra. The video for the new version will also be filmed soon.

My original idea was that the song has orchestral version. We came to the conclusion that it would sound good in Italian. The language is melodic and of course the fact that the Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Italy this year.

Vladana was selected to represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 internally by the broadcaster RTCG. Her entry “Breathe” was released early March and it’s composed by Darko Dimitrov, who has composed many songs to the contest in the past years. Recently he has been among the songwriters for Hurricane’s “Loco Loco” and Tamara Todevska‘s “Proud”. Vladana Vučinić has written the lyrics for her song herself.

Montenegro will compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 and Vladana will be performing on the second half of the show on May 12th. Montenegro hopes to qualify to the final for the first time since 2015.
