ESCXTRA.com are live for day 5 of rehearsals ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 taking place at the Pala Olimpico in Turin, Italy!
It’s time for the second rehearsals for the majority of the artists in the first semi-final! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Albania, Latvia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Moldova, Portugal, Croatia, Denmark, Austria and Greece.
The latest artist to rehearse is S10 from The Netherlands who is performing the song ”De Diepte”.

Rehearsal review
Stage presentation
S10 is standing on a platform, with lights behind her. The stage remains quite dark, asides from the backdrop that is displayed on the sun, which reminds me of a beach at sunset. There is a lot of play with the lights, which surround her in a way that kind of looks like ‘Undo’, but not in an exact copy-paste way. I especially love the silhouette you see when the second verse comes in.
Costumes and styling
Great outfit! Dark, but not depressing. She looks confident on stage, while not distracting from the song.
Vocal quality
Just like the studio version! There is an extra touch to hearing this live that makes it feel more powerful.
Overall impression
Very impressed! It leans into the vulnerable part of the song while not becoming too dramatic. S10 seems comfortable on stage and her vocals are great. The usage of a platform is nice, and the sun doesn’t actually impact the performance despite being used. This will be elevated by an audience surrounding her.
