New Music Friday – this week with Subwoolfer, Little Big, Ronela Hajati, Stefania and more!

Ten of the best new songs from Eurovision artists!

Stefania – ‘Run Together’

Next week Europe will get out the flags once more. However, this time it is for the Women’s Euros 2022. Of course, no football tournament is complete without team anthems to inspire goals and victory. So what better than a Eurovision crossover thanks to Greek-Dutch, ‘Last Dance‘ singer, Stefania. Unfortunately Greece did not qualify for this years’ tournament, so Stefania can safely support her birth country The Netherlands! If this EDM banger doesn’t help the Orange Lionesses run together to another Euros title, nothing else will.

I really have a thing for football, especially the women’s team. When I was little, my sister played in the Greece national team. And when I have time, I like to play a game with Creators FC myself. I think it’s an incredible honour to be able to release the official anthem for the European Championship 2022. Two of my passions come together in this: football and music!

Tamta – ‘Pandora’

Fresh from being caught up in the MAD VMAs drama recently, Cyprus’ Eurovision 2019 entrant Tamta, returns this week with the single she was trying to perform before being rudely interrupted. Always open to exploring her sound and using music to express topical themes, Tamta opens the pandoras box on life as a woman in the modern age. Through ‘Pandora’ Tamta expresses the hopeful desire of independence and self-sufficiency in a world of cruelty.

Flo Rida – ‘What A Night’

No, it was not a fever dream. Last year the American rapper Flo Rida really did perform on stage in Rotterdam with Senhit. Following on from that rush of ‘Adrenalina‘, Flo Rida is back to what he does best. Together with the old and new, Flo Rida delivers a joyful shot of nostalgia in ‘What A Night’. Many will spot The Four Season’s sample of their original hit song, ‘December, 1963 (Oh What A Night)’. However Flo Rida gives it a fresh party anthem twist, perfect for any Summer playlist.
