Germany in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Back in 2020, Germany and their junior department KiKA decided to debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. After a difficult start, finishing 12th and last place with Susan’s entry, ‘Stronger With You’, Germany tried again in 2021. After opening the show in Paris with Pauline’s ‘Imagine Us’, the end result was a disappointing 17th place and 61 points. Thus, Germany and KiKA took the decision to take a break in 2022 with the aim of focusing on a strong return in 2023.
