Tonight: ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ Luxembourg chooses as other countries keep searching for their entry

Today, January 25t, will be a light Super Saturday, before entering the month of February and its weekly nights of national finals. Only one country will select its Eurovision act tonight, but other selections at various stages of competition will be broadcast too across Europe.

20:00 CET, for approximately 2h-2h30

7 songs will compete in this single show, in this running order:

  1. Rafa Ela – “No Thank You”
  2. Rythmic Soulwave – “Stronger”
  3. Luzac – “Je Danse”
  4. One Last Time – “Gambler’s song”
  5. MÄNA – “Human Eyes”
  6. Laura Thorn – “La Poupée Monte le Son”
  7. Zero point five – “Ride”

A classic 50/50 split of 8 juries (who will give points in this manner: 12, 10, 8, 6 ,4, 2 and 0 points for their last place) and televote (online vote through esc.vote, open to everyone) will decide the winner.

20:00 CET

9 songs will compete for :

  1. AMARI – “Sirens Call”
  2. Thoma G. – “Highest Goals”
  3. Queens of Roses – “Taip!” (Yes!)
  4. GOYA – “After Storm”
  5. Hasanova – “Leilydo”
  6. MeidE – “Gyvatės” (Snakes)
  7. Gebrasy – “Whole”
  8. Indrė & Laimonas – “Namo” (Home)
  9. Black biceps – “Visaip man reik” (I need it anyway)

Another 50/50 split of juries and televote will decide the qualifiers.

In Slovenia, the showcase broadcast “Ema pred Emo” will start at 20:00 CET. It will serve as an introduction for the actual show, next week, with the finalists talking about their preparations. It will be hosted by Bernarda Žarn and Jože Robežnik.

Snippets of the 12 acts will be revealed, and guests will appear to comment on the performances, or to perform themselves: Miša Molk, Denis Živčec, Maja Keuc (Slovenia 2011), Lea Sirk (Slovenia 2018), Nuša Derenda (Slovenia 2001), Cole Moretti, Omar Naber (Slovenia 2005 & 2017) and Eva Boto (Slovenia 2012).
