Olly has won the 75th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Italy. Hosted by Artistic Director Carlo Conti, alongside special guests, Sanremo has come to a close after a months of competition.
Settembre with “Vertebre” was announced the winner of the newcomers selection, with Alex Wyse and “Rockstar” coming in second.
There have been some rule changes this year, where if the winner was to say no to Eurovision, RAI will select the next highest in the final ranking to represent Italy at Eurovision.
Concluding the Sanremo Music Festival 2025, Olly has won with the song “Balorda nostalgia”. They prevailed after Lucio Corsi with “Volevo essere un duro” placed second. Brunori Sas placed third, while Fedez and Simone Cristicchi placed fourth and fifth respectively.
