Songs to receive radio premiere on Monday

After weeks of speculation and silence from the Irish brodcaster, RTE – It has been announced on Ray D’Arcy’s radio show that all five entries taking part in this year’s Eurosong will receive their first radio airplay tomorrow.

The five entries will be played in full on Monday’s Ray D’Arcy Show which is to be broadcast on RTE Radio 1 between 15.00 – 16.30 GMT. (Click here to listen live).    It is still unclear whether the names of the artists will be revealed exclusively during this show or if the broadcaster will release them before the transmission.
The five entrants will then perform on The Late Late Show: Eurosong Special due to take place at the end of the month. The song will be selected by a mixture of televoting and regional juries.
Can-Linn represented Ireland at last year’s contest with “Heartbeat”. Unfortunately they didn’t manage to qualify for the final, finishing in 12th place with 35 points.
