Vienna 2015

Two shows in your Eurovision world!

After a massive seven shows yesterday, we’ll be seeing two shows in the Eurovision world today. Serbia will pick their entry for Vienna, whereas Latvia continues their selection process, entering the semifinal stage.
Serbia

  • What: Odbrojavanje za Beč
  • Start: 21.07 CET
  • Broadcast: RTS1

After a break of a year, Serbia has decided to return to the Eurovision Song Contest. Broadcaster RTS isn’t going big with their national final. The show is scheduled to last a mere 75 minutes (a piece of cake if you watched all of Sanremo last night) and there will be just three songs competing to represent Serbia in Eurovision 2015. All three songs have been composed by Vladimir Graić, who’s been involved with Eurovision before, composing the 2012 Slovenian entry Verjamem and more notably, Serbia’s 2007 winner Molitva. Two established acts, Aleksa Jelić and Bojana Stamenov, joined by newcomer Danica Krstić will compete.
The line-up:

  • Aleksa Jelić – Vodi Me
  • Bojana Stamenov – Ceo Svet Je Moj
  • Danica Krstić – Suze Za Kraj

Latvia

  • What: Supernova 2015 – Semifinal
  • Start: 20.20 CET
  • Broadcast: LTV1

It’s the third show in Latvia and for the first time, all remaining acts will be on the same show. Hopefully we’ll have a pretty good idea of the favourites after tonight, as at the moment, all we know is that Latvia can always shock us with their results. Four acts will qualify tonight, four will go home. That logically means that eight acts are still competing to represent Latvia in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest and the big question still stands: Can Latvia finally manage to qualify again after failing six consecutive times?
The line-up:

  • Aminata – Love Injected
  • Antra Stafecka – It’s The Night
  • ElektroFolk – Sundance
  • Euphony – Home
  • Framest – Ziemā
  • Markus Riva – Take Me Down
  • MNTHA – Nefelibata
  • Rihards Bērziņš – Your Eyes

With just two shows tonight, you won’t need to catch up on too much afterwards! Let us know what you’ll be watching below or on social media! Here’s a little guide for you to see when all is happening tonight:
