A day after Amber released the new version of her Eurovision entry, Warrior, PBS announced a farewell concert by Amber to take place on 18th April.
Amber will be giving a concert with the national broadcaster’s orchestra at the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC). The Maltese 2015 Eurovision hopeful will be singing a number of songs together with other past Eurovision representatives such as Joe Cutajar (Malta 1972), Gianluca Bezzina (Malta 2013), Federica (Malta – JESC 2014) and Gaia (winner of JESC 2013).
The guest singers list do also include Franklin Calleja and Christabelle (runner-up in the last Maltese selection). In a press conference, PBS Chairman Tonio Portughese said that the orchestra will be under the direction of Paul Abela. Abela is a renowned Maltese composer who penned a number of Maltese Eurovision entries.
Portughese stated that this concert will be a great occasion for the Maltese public to bid a fond farewell to Amber before she flies to Vienna.
Tickets priced at €10, €15 and €20 will go on sale next Monday from the MCC’s booking office in Valletta.
