Yesterday, Jon Ola Sand teased that there are 41 countries participating “so far” in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest, and unsurprisingly, we now know for sure that one of them will be Slovenia after their preliminary confirmation in September.
Not only this, but it has been confirmed that Evrovizijska Melodija (popularly known as EMA) will once again be the mechanism used to select the Slovenian entry – perhaps also unsurprisingly.
Further information will be released in due course regarding dates and entry details for the competition to decide on Maraaya’s successors. Indeed, after being involved in the last two Slovenian Eurovision songs and the last two Junior songs for Slovenia, would you bet against Maraaya entering in some form again? Watch this space…
