In addition, for our immediate reactions to every single rehearsal, you can follow our live stream from the press centre at the Altice Arena byย visiting our YouTube channel.
The latest artist to rehearse for the second time is Equinox for Bulgaria. We have just watched their latest run through of Bones live on screen and here is our initial reaction.

Staging

This looks very similar to Equinox’s first rehearsal:
Bulgaria have reused their Kristian Kostov camera shakes in the first verse of Bulgaria. Each vocalist gets their moment in the main frame, overlaying camera shots are used to combine vocalists into โ€˜oneโ€™ and strobe lighting is also used. A perspex box is used as the prop for Bulgaria, with the vocalists arranged in a line.
Several different visual effects are used and there’s a very powerful wind machine almost blowing Zhana’s wig off!

Camera shots in this performance: 101

Vocal

Equinox are vocally flawless, as expected. It sounds spectacular.

Costume

The exact same as in the first rehearsal, all in black, and Zhana has her famous white wig!

To qualify or not to qualify?

We have taken a flash poll from around the ESCXTRA table here in the press centre and 7 out of 7 of us sayโ€ฆ

YES!

I've watched Eurovision for as long as I can remember, but my interest really built in 2008, after I decided to watch the semifinals online, out of boredom, before the final...I was blown away by the quality of the show and have been hooked ever since! I'm a competitive trampolinist and I love baking. I've also just completed a master's degree in Research Methods in Psychology at University College London.
