Luonnoskuvia UMK20:n lavasta! Tänä vuonna lavan designin kantava teema on selkeys. Lava on varustettu uusimmalla show-tekniikalla, joten luvassa on myös teknisesti todella näyttävä show! #UMK20 pic.twitter.com/xIkentOXsR

The first sketches of the stage were posted on UMK’s social media accounts. The visual designer for the contest is Ari Levelä, who has worked as a show designer for big Finnish artists such as Antti Tuisku, Cheek and SANNI.
Clarity is the main theme of this year’s stage design for UMK. Yle say that clear lines, graphic scenes and precise lighting design provide the perfect setting for competing performances. The stage is equipped with the latest show technology.
Three weeks to the final
Finland will choose their Eurovision 2020 entry on March 7th. Six artists will compete and the winner will be decided by the Finnish public and international jury. Finnish public can vote for their favourite through free Yle.fi app or by calling and texting the voting number.
Yle opened an unofficial poll to their UMK website last Friday. Currently (on February 17th) Erika Vikman is in a clear lead, followed by Aksel Kankaanranta and Tika.
