Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the Round 7 of Eurovision Prediction 2020. For this round, your task was to predict the winner Ukraine’s Vidbir, Slovenia’s EMA and Poland’s Szansa na Sukces. Airing this evening (Saturday 22 February), let’s visit the results of EMA!

This is perhaps not entirely surprising due to the fact that Lina brought Slovenia a third place in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest back in 2015. However, it is worth noting that we are basing our opinions based on snippets of the entries, as the full songs were not released by the broadcaster prior to the selection. Despite this, Nathan and Costa from our team still had a go at making our own predictions:

This year, there was a tight race from three acts. Last year, over 60% of you predicted RAIVEN would win EMA 2019. Of course, she ended up proceeding to the super final…and then getting crushed by Zala and Gašper by almost 80% of the vote. Notably, only 2.5% of our players predicted the result of EMA 2019. Let’s hope that your fortunes are better this time around!
Our Eurovision Prediction 2019 players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30. Last week, you only predicted one out of three of last weekend’s selections correctly. That means that so far this year, you have correctly predicted 5 out of 11 winners correctly, with plenty still to go…
