This morning Georgia released their Eurovision 2020 entry “Take Me As I Am”. The song is written by the singer himself, Tornike Kipiani.

Last year Tornike won Georgia’s Idol and therefore was given the chance to represent Georgia in Eurovision Song Contest. Georgia will compete in the the second semifinal of the contest. We will hear “Take Me As I Am” on the second half of the show on May 14.
Emilia Sandquist will direct Tornike’s stage performance. Emilia is a member of the Sacha Jean-Baptiste Creative Group and has previously worked at Swedish Idol and Melodifestivalen. She was also the director of Swedish Grammis gala this year.
In Rotterdam, Tornike will be joined by three backing vocalists, Aleko Berdzenishvili, Marian Shengelia and Mariko Lezhava.
