Earlier today, another interval act has been confirmed for the 2020 Eurovision Grand Final. DJ Afrojack has been confirmed as an act, along with a specially created ESC orchestra and choir.
Who is DJ Afrojack?
Nick van de Wall, or mostly known as DJ Afrojack has been in the music industry since the age of 14, where he started DJ’ing in local pubs and clubs. Since entering the music business, he has been collaborating with musicians, such as Pitbull, Ne-Yo with their track ‘Give Me Everything’, and Beyonce with her single ‘Run The World (Girls)’.
In addition to collaborating with other musicians, DJ Afrojack has also released his own material. His debut album ‘Forget The World’ was released and has reached the Top 40 of the US Billboard 200 charts.
Despite only being 26, DJ Afrojack it’s considered that he has made an impact on the music industry in regards to the worldwide popularity of EDM. In 2019, he came 9th place in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs.
