The most recent winner of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix Ben & Tan have released their second single “Summer Night”. The song is follow-up single for their Eurovision entry “YES”.

The song is written by Johnny Madsen, Marcus Winther-John and Emil Lei. Emil Lei was one of the songwriters behind “YES” and Denmark’s 2019 entry “Love Is Forever”. The song is a reinterpretation of the rock legend Johnny Madsen’s hit “Stjernenat” from 1988.
Denmark will select their 2021 representative through Dansk Melodi Grand Prix but Ben & Tan have not yet decided if they want to take part. In an interview with the broadcaster DR, they said it was “insanely fun to attend this year” and won’t rule out the possibility to take part in the future.
The duo met during the Danish X Factor, where they both took part. Ben finished second as a solo act while Tan was part of a group Echo that made it to the semifinals of the contest.
