The Netherlands in Eurovision
The Netherlands were one of the first seven countries that made their debut in 1956. They have since appeared in the contest 60 times, winning 5 times. Most recently, Duncan Laurence won for them in 2019 with his song “Arcade”.
They were due to host the 2020 contest in Rotterdam, but was cancelled in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonetheless, Rotterdam will still be hosting in 2021, with Jeangu Macrooy returning as their representative.
