Yesterday, 2019 Eurovision Song Contest star Tamta announced details of her forthcoming brand new single! Featuring Israeli singer Stephane Legar, “Yala” will be released on June 12.
Capitalising on Eurovision success
Since representing Cyprus in last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Tamta has released a series of singles including the Greek #1 hit “Senorita” with SNIK as well as “Sex With Your Ex” and Greek-language single “S’agapo”. For “Yala”, Tamta is returning to the English language ahead of her new EP “Awake”, the release date of which is yet to be confirmed.
Stephane Legar is an Israeli hip-hop star with roots in Togo courtesy of his parents. He has been nominated multiple times for the MTV award of Best Israeli act and his most popular music video, for “Comme ci comme ça” has accumulated more than 42 million views on YouTube.
