Eric Saade will release his first full album in Swedish on June 12. The album is called “Det svarta fåret”, the black sheep.
New single out the same day
Alongside the album, Eric will also release a new single “Nån som du” next Friday. The new single is about a break-up and the thoughts afterwards, when you start to look to the past with a new perspective. Recently Eric broke up with his long-time girlfriend Nicole Falciani.
Eric released his first single in Swedish back in 2018 after appearing on the Swedish tv show Så Mycket Bättre. The debut single “Så jävla fel” was followed by four more singles including “Postcard” featuring Anis Don Demina and “Glas”.
“Det svarta fåret” is Eric Saade’s fifth studio album. In 2016 he released an EP called “Saade”. A remix by Filatov & Karas of the single “Wide Awake” gained success in Russia and Ukraine and has over 24 million views on YouTube.
Eric Saade won Sweden’s national selection Melodifestivalen in 2011 with the song “Popular” and went on to finish third at the Eurovision Song Contest. He returned to the selection in 2015 and qualified to the final with “Sting“.
