As Swedenโs Eurovision 2016 representative Frans prepares to release his debut album โPresentโ on July 24, he has treated us with the release of his new song โMm mm Mmโ which is the third single to be released in the lead up to the release of โPresentโ.
Comparing his latest release with his two latest singles ‘On a Wave’ and ‘Monday’, ‘Mm mm Mm’ is more toned down, which suits much better along with the lyrical meaning of the song, which is complimented by Frans’s vocals.
About ‘Mm mm Mm’
Ahead of the release of โMm mm Mmโ Frans revealed more on what the track is about ahead of itโs releaseย via Instagram, where he revealed that the track was written in Sopot, as well as hoping that you are able to relate to the track:
To me its about a relationship that could have been. All the circumstances were right, but it just didn’t happen for some reason. Not sure why.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter what its about. It’s your interpretation that matters. How you the listener transforms it into something else, into your own experiences.
Frans also admitted, that they could’ve figured out a better name for the song.
Not a great name, we couldn’t figure out a name, so we called it ‘Mm mm Mm’.
