Romania’s Eurovision 2020/21 representative Roxen, is treating us to new music. Today, she has released her latest single ‘How to Break a Heart’. In the song, Roxen is telling you to ensure to not push her limits, or you might not end up in a good position!.
To coincide with the release of her new single, Roxen has released a music video for ‘How to Break a Heart‘, which you are able to watch below.
First release via Warner Music Group
‘How to Break a Heart’ is the first release for Roxen, where Global Records partnered with the Warner Music Group. It was announced that Roxen’s label is now the Romanian Licensee of Warner Music releases in Romania.
The partnership between the companies would allow them to collaborate to promote Global’s growing roster of artists globally. Alfonso Perez-Soto, EVP, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, of Warner Music, had the following to say about the partnership:
“I’m delighted that we’re partnering with Global, an independent label with a brilliant marketing and promotion machine and an amazing track record of breaking great local talent. And we’re launching with a splash – Roxen is an amazing artist with true global potential. Exciting times!”
Whilst Stefan Lucian of Global Records, had the following to say about the partnership:
“Warner Music is the major record company with a true independent spirit. We’re thrilled that it’s global army of entrepreneurial execs will be going to work for some of our breaking artist such as Roxen. And we can’t wait to connect its incredible global roster of artists to music fans here in Romania. It’s a dream partnership!”

Roxen at the Eurovision Song Contest
In 2020, Romania internally selected Roxen to represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her entry for the 2020 contest was selected via a National Final, where ‘Alcohol You’ was selected.
Despite the cancellation of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. It was revealed that Roxen will indeed represent Romania at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.
