๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡พ VAL release new single ‘Navechna’ (Forever)

VAL, Belarus representatives at the Eurovision 2020, have released a new single!

This charming duo from Belarus was going to perform live on the Eurovision stage in Rotterdam, however, the pandemic changed these plans. Nevertheless, the guys didn’t give up but focused a lot on their new music. Here’s the first result out: a brand new single in Belarusian language called “ะะฐะฒะตั‡ะฝะฐ” (Navechna), which means “Forever”.

The beautiful music video follows the song as well. It was shot in an empty Dinamo Minsk Stadium and gives us some quite bittersweet vibes.

VAL announced the release on their Instagram page and shared some feelings they have for this song:

“Forever” is a very personal and important song for us along with some warm little sadness. It tells us about unconditional love, patience, painful waiting which a heart broken into billion pieces leaves afterwards. Also that’s always easier for people when they are together! Live, wait, cry, sing, hug and love.

VAL at the Eurovision Song Contest

VAL is the duo from Belarus. This year they won the national selection with their song “Da Vidna” and got a chance to represent Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. Unfortunately, as we all know, Eurovision was cancelled this year.

At the moment it’s still uncertain whether VAL would represent Belarus again next year. The broadcaster haven’t confirmed anything yet.

How do you find the VAL’s new release? Do you hope they would join Eurovision 2021? Comment below or share your opinion with @escxtra on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.
