Despite only making one attempt to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest, Max Barskih remains known to Eurovision fans. Now, he is back as he releases his new EDM single ‘Silence’.
To coincide with the release of his new single, Max has released a new lyric video for ‘Silence’, which you are able to see below:
About ‘Silence’
As Max’s fans are aware, it is a rarity that Max releases any music in the English language. So much so, ‘Silence’ is his first English language release in eight years.
Upon the release of the track, Max had the following to say about the track:
I adore the relaxed atmosphere of summer days and everything which refers to it. Yachting, speed driving in a cabriolet, bustling parties with friends open-air, dancing uninhibitedly to the high quality-rhythm. “Silence” – this is music for mood shaping and music about happiness”

Max Barskih’s Eurovision attempt
In 2012, Max attempted to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, with his self-penned song ‘Dance’. Despite scoring well with the juries, Max managed to finish 2nd overall in Ukraine’s National Selection.
