🇷🇺 Sofia Feskova finished second at New Wave Junior 2020

This year Sofia has a quite busy schedule apart from Junior Eurovision

Sofia Feskova took part in another music contest while getting ready to the Junior Eurovision 2020.

A couple of weeks ago the national broadcaster confirmed Sofia Feskova is going to represent Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.

While getting ready to JESC, Sofia took part and came second in “New Wave Junior 2020”, the international music contest that has been held since 2008 and aims to gather talented singers across the world.

As Sofia states, she is not sad she couldn’t win. The contest brought her a lot of positive emotions and new friends among participants. Moreover, she also had a chance to see some of her favourite singers.

According to Sofia Feskova’s mother, the girl has a quite busy schedule these days. However, she is sure her daughter will handle it and deliver a great performance at the upcoming Junior Eurovision.

Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Russia debuted in the contest in 2005 and have never missed it since then.

The Junior Eurovision had Russia as a winner twice. The Tolmachevy Twins took the trophy first with their song “Vesenniy Jazz” in 2006, then Polina Bogusevich won with her song “Wings” in 2017. However, since then Russia hasn’t hosted the contest yet.

In 2019 Tatyana Mezhentseva and Denberel Oorzhak represented the country with their song “A Time For Us” and came 13th.

This year Sofia Feskova will be the Russian representative performing her song “Мой новый день” (My new day).
