‘Arcade’ has achieved Gold certification in the US, as it continues to rack up certifications and chart performances across the globe.

Duncan Laurence’s winning track from Eurovision 2019 has seen a revival of chart fortunes in 2021. It went viral on TikTok towards the end of last year and has seen an uptick of people playing it throughout the year so far, appearing in both the Official UK Top 40 and the American Billboard Hot 100. It has now gone Gold in the USA. This means that it has sold over 500,000 certified units/sales in that region, a combination of streaming figures as well as paid downloads.

Arcade has been certified Gold in 11 regions including the USA, has also been certified Platinum in Belgium, and has been certified 4x Platinum in his home country of the Netherlands. The title picture of this article shows him receiving double Platinum there in 2019, which shows how far he has come.

Duncan celebrated achieving this milestone on Twitter:

Most streamed Eurovision winner

This success is mostly down to the continued success of ‘Arcade’ on streaming platforms. With over 298 million streams on Spotify at time of writing, it is the most streamed Eurovision winner on this platform with almost twice the streams of second placed “Euphoria”, which has 160 million. It’s adding to those streams at a fast rate, with 13 million in the last seven days, with 2.2 million of those streams coming from the USA.
