Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:
And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:
Like with Georgia, we don’t really see Albania changing a whole lot during their second rehearsal. Anxhela Peristeri is absolutely nailing her vocals this morning and that’s worth a credit. It is 10:35 in the morning and she’s blasting the notes out like there’s no tomorrow. She’s going full throttle.
The colours remain the same: red and black are the predominant colours, with a lighter shade of blue kicking in later on in the song. For the final part of the song, we see dark grey smoke on the background, which is craving for some dry ice. Because there are no effects on the floor throughout the song, you’d hope for the dry ice on the floor. In the final runthrough, we finally get that dry ice in a nice subtle way.
This is a very competent performing with a very compelling performer. The effects have been put on during the least exciting parts of the song to keep the viewers drawn in. It takes you back to the mid-00s in terms of Eurovision staging.
