🇬🇷 Stefania releases “Mucho Calor”

The spirit of the med comes to life!

Hot off the heels of her Top 10 placement for Greece in Rotterdam, Dutch-Greek star Stefania releases her hot summer bop “Mucho Calor”.

From 80s synths to Tropical beats

“Mucho Calor” (Spanish for very hot) does what it says on the tin! Stefania brings out her Mediterranean heritage with this summery electro-pop number.

The refrain of “Ta-ta-ra-ta, yeah-eah” is highly infectious and the production is very polished. This song isn’t as heavy as “Superg!rl” in its Mediterranean beat drops as “Mucho Calor” adopts an easy breezy approach to the regional flavour.

A familiar team

The song is produced and written by Dmitris Kontopulous and ARCADE who were part of both “Last Dance” and “Superg!rl”. With additional production provided by Dmitrii Agofonov. The song is bang on three minutes long so it does beg the question of “Was this song intended for Eurovision?” I’ll leave you to ponder on that!
