Rehearsal review

Rehearsing today for Azerbaijan inside La Seine Musicale is Sona Azizova, performing “One Of Those Days”. As the first rehearsals are closed to the press, this review is based upon content made public by the EBU and France Télévisions.

Azerbaijan’s staging is focused on the artist herself. Sona is performing her song alone standing on a neon blue “road”. She wears an impressive long white dress with sparkling elements. The LED background is quite minimalistic and in neon blue shades mostly. Overall, it gives some Snow Queen vibes!

Sona seems very confident and focused and that definitely helps her to have her vocal skills on point! Having no dancers around or any additional activity on stage makes the audience appreciate her voice even more, nice tactics for such a song. Very mature performance!
