Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest

After debuting in the contest in 1961, it took the Nordic country almost 40 attempts before they finally won the contest in 2006. After winning the contest, Finland has qualified to the final six times. Their best result since victory came last year when Blind Channel represented the country with “Dark Side”. They finished sixth in the grand final with 301 points.
