Today we got the second entry of Australia’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Jude York will compete in Eurovision – Australia Decides with the song “I Won’t Need to Dream”.
Listen to “I Won’t Need to Dream”
Jude York is 22-year-old singer-songwriter and comes from Toowoomba, Queensland. While “I Won’t Need to Dream” is his first commercial single, he featured on a song “Glaciers” by producer Wastemall last year.
To think of my song being shared on such a monumental platform is truly mind-blowing. I wrote it with the amazing Billy Stonecipher about staying hopeful that dreams can come true. And now to have this opportunity as a queer artist in regional Queensland, I’ve never had a better reason to believe in that message!

The Eurovision 2019 televote winners KEiiNO will return to Australia after their successful 2019 tour of the country and be the special international guest act. Earlier today, the first song of the contest was released when Voyager released their song “Dreamer”.
