Portugal’s hopeful candidate Maro drops one more song before heading to Turin for the Eurovision Song Contest.
With just one week left before rehearsals start in Turin, Maro is definitely not giving herself some time off. Since winning Festival da Canção 2022 in March with her Eurovision entry “Saudade, saudade”, she has released her single “am i not enough for now?” . This song was written by Maro herself, together with John Blanda, her co-writer on “Saudade, saudade”. They teamed up again for the making of Maro’s newest single, “we’ve been loving in silence”. Maro excitedly shared the news of her new song and it’s music video on Twitter this Sunday.
While watching the official music video, you might recognize a familiair face. None other than Salvador Sobral (Portugal 2017) is the star of the video, as you can see him jamming and singing along to Maro’s intimate and personal lyrics. Seems like the song already has a former Eurovision winner’s approval!
Portugal will compete with “Saudade, saudade” in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 as the 10th performer of the night.
