Rehearsal review

Stage presentation

The great mess that you would expect from Georgia. They use the LED screens well, as some animated characters in the background lip-sync the verse. It’s super colourful, starting with a soft red and blue, but changing to pulsing shades of turquoise and purple.

They have this great box that shows the band in a small way, kind of like a music box. It’s very energetic and definitely shows the quirky side of this performance in the best way. The camera shots are well done too, showing both the band and the individuals and their iconic looks.

Costumes and styling

So much. It’s just chaos in the best possible way. I don’t quite now where to start with this, it has weird glasses, weird outfits, wacky hats! Just many great looks all around.

Vocal quality

Pleasantly surprised! It sounded like the studio version with more personality.

Overall impression

Really fun, yet somehow a little less chaotic than we expected. Maybe this works in their favour, because people will remember it for being fun, but not leaving them entirely confused. The colours and outfits catch your eye, and the vocals are great. The personality of the song really shines through in the performance.
