Amanda Tenfjord releases “Plans”

Greece’s representative at Eurovision 2022, Amanda Tenfjord, has released a new single. The song is called “Plans”.

Tenfjord ft. Gammelsæter: A golden combination

For the release of “Plans”, the 25 year old Norwegian-Greek singer-songwriter has once again teamed up with Bjørn Helge Gammelsæter. Together, they also wrote “Die Together” for Eurovision this year. Both songs were written right after one another and you can hear that quite clearly. “Plans” and “Die Together” tell the story of someone who’s struggling to get over a break up, even though their former partner has now moved on.

Once again, the instrumentation only works to make sure Amanda’s vocals can shine through, which hit in similar fashion to hear enchanting Eurovision Song Contest performance. There, Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord, as ERT called her for Eurovision, finished in eighth place. It was the second consecutive top ten result for Greece. Before that, they had failed to make the top ten since 2014, despite a very successful run between 2004 and 2010.
