If anyone says that Eurovision is a career “killer”, this could not be further from the truth for the United Kingdom’s Sam Ryder. Since his success in May, the Brit has scooped up numerous television and musical opportunities.
Sam’s appearance
According to Metro UK, Sam Ryder is set to make an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox. Sam Ryder has often expressed his love for the show, so his appearance will arguably be as enjoyable for Sam himself as it will for viewers.
The Eurovision star will appear alongside Scott Mills, who is best known for his radio show on BBC Radio 1. Mills has also been a UK commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals. For those unfamiliar with the format of the show, this edition of Celebrity Gogglebox will feature celebrity duos watching and reacting to the streaming service and TV highlights of the week. What’s next for Sam Ryder?
Sam Ryder has been having a whirlwind of a time since his Eurovision appearance. After achieving a coveted second place in Turin with his song “Space Man”, Sam’s next greatest achievement was arguably being invited as a performer to Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Party at the Palace.
Last weekend, Sam performed alongside numerous star-studded guests. These included Queen and Adam Lambert, Sir Elton John, George Ezra, Andrea Bocelli, Hans Zimmer and more.
