Belgian broadcaster VRT have announced the seven acts that will be participating in the forthcoming Belgian National Final for Eurovision 2023 ‘Eurosong’.
Among these seven acts are some big names and even some former Eurovision artists returning and hoping to have another go.
Among the biggest names of the seven acts is The Starlings, which consists of the Belgian representative at Eurovision 2010 Tom Dice and his fiancée Kato Callebaut. Kato also rose to fame through the 2011 edition of Idool in Belgium.
Loredana is also back for a second attempt at going to Eurovision. As part of the group 2Fabiola, she attempted to represent Belgium at Eurovision 2014 via Eurosong but lost out to Axel Hirsoux. However, she then went on to have huge success, winning the award for the biggest summer hit of the year in Flanders.
Ameerah is also competing at Eurosong 2023. She rose to fame via Idool in 2003, and then went on to find success in Europe and the USA with the song ‘The Sound Of Missing You’.
The remaining acts for Eurosong 2023 are Chérine, gala dragot, Gustaph and Hunter Falls.
Eurosong is returning in 2023, and will take place on the 14th January. Each of the above acts will compete with two songs.
