First five acts advanced to the Grand Final of Eesti Laul 2023

Five acts qualified for the Grand Final

Tonight the first semi-final of Eesti Laul 2023 took place and a total of 10 acts competed for the first five spots in the Grand Final. The finalists were found by a mix of jury/public vote. Another 10 artists will fight for the remaining five spots in the Grand Final in the second semi-final on Saturday. The Final of Eesti Laul will take place on February 11th.

Tonight’s acts (Qualifiers in bold):

  1. JANEK – “House of Glass” – Televoting Qualifier
  2. Ellip – “Pretty Girl”
  3. Kaw – “Valik”
  4. MERLYN – “Unicorn Vibes”
  5. MIA – “Üks samm korraga”
  6. Neon Letters & Maiko – “Tokimeki”
  7. OLLIE – “Venom” – Jury/Televoting Qualifier
  8. Andreas – “Why Do You Love Me” – Jury/Televoting Qualifier
  9. Bedwetters – “Monsters” – Jury/Televoting Qualifier
  10. Anett x Fredi – “You Need to Move On” – Jury/Televoting Qualifier

Before we got the qualifiers, Ellip, OLLIE, Andreas and Anett x Fredi were named the favorites of the jury!

The semi-finals will be held at Viimsi Atrium with the Grand Final being held at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn. The hosts of the Eesti Laul 2023 are Tõnis Niinemets and Grete Kuld.

On February 11th the winner of Eesti Laul 2023 will represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool.

Last year Stefan represented Estonia with his song “Hope”. He qualified for the Grand Final and finished in 13th place with 141 points!
