Before the first heat of Melodifestivalen 2023 in Gothenburg, we had the chance to speak with Tone Sekelius, who is returning to the competition with her song “Rhythm Of My Show”. After her 5th place in the final last year, she is back to open the first heat!

In the interview, we talked with Tone about her 2022 debut and how she knew right after she stepped off the stage in Stockholm last year, that she will come back! Tone told us how much she grew since last year and that her new song is all about attitude, being yourself, and being confident!
Rehearsals can be tricky and that is why we have them. Tone told us what happened last year during her rehearsals and how it went this year.
After she released some songs these past years her goal is an album, but it’s difficult to decide what songs you want, and takes time to write. It’s still one of her biggest goals she is working towards to.
