The Slovenian song for Eurovision 2023 is out! In a special show on RTVSLO, Slovenia’s entry for 2023 was debut by the country’s representative Joker Out. They’ll be giving us “Slovenian shagadelic rock’n’roll” in Liverpool this May.
Who are Joker Out?
Hailing from Ljubljiana, Joker Out are a five piece band that were announced as the country’s representatives for Eurovision 2023 last year. The band, consisting of Bojan Cvjetićanin, Jure Maček, Kris Guštin, Jan Peteh Nace Jordan are a popular band in their home country and not only have dominated the domestic charts but have also won several local awards.
They will be hoping to get Slovenia back into the final for the first time since 2018. Lea Sirk was the last act to bring Slovenia into the Grand Final. She sang “Hvala, Ne” in Lisbon and made it through. LPS sadly finished last in their semi last year with “Disko”, so Joker Out will be hoping to improve on that result.
